Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of our training. If you're not satisfied, we'll work to make it right — and in eligible cases, provide a full refund.

1. Our Commitment

At TechBide, we are committed to delivering exceptional cybersecurity training. We take pride in the quality of our content and Bilal's instruction. However, we understand that circumstances change and our refund policy reflects this.

2. Video Course Refunds ($40)

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on the Video Course under the following conditions:

  • Your refund request is submitted within 7 days of purchase
  • You have consumed no more than 20% of the course content (approximately 4 hours)
  • You have not downloaded a significant portion of the course materials

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • More than 7 days have passed since purchase
  • More than 20% of the course content has been accessed
  • The request appears to be an attempt to access content without payment
  • This is not your first refund request from TechBide

3. One-to-One Training Refunds

Pro Weekly Plan ($200/week):

  • Full refund if cancelled 48+ hours before the first scheduled session
  • 50% refund if cancelled 24–48 hours before the first session
  • No refund if cancelled less than 24 hours before the first session
  • Sessions that have already been delivered are non-refundable

Elite Monthly Plan ($650/month):

  • Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of purchase and no sessions have been conducted
  • Pro-rata refund for unused sessions if cancelled after the programme has started, at Bilal's discretion
  • Completed sessions are non-refundable

4. Rescheduling Policy

We understand plans change. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) will be charged at 50% of the session rate. Bilal will always endeavour to rearrange sessions within the same week where possible.

5. Technical Issues

If you experience technical problems accessing your purchased content that are caused by our platform (not your device or internet connection), we will first attempt to resolve the issue. If resolution is not possible within 5 business days, a full or partial refund may be granted at our discretion.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

We recognise that exceptional circumstances arise (e.g. serious illness, bereavement). In these cases, please contact us directly and we will consider your situation on a case-by-case basis with empathy and flexibility.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at refunds@techbide.co.uk with:

  • Your full name and registered email address
  • Your order/purchase reference number
  • The reason for your refund request

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are returned to your original payment method.

8. Consumer Rights (UK)

As a UK consumer, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you purchase a digital product (video course) and access it immediately, you may waive your right to cancel under the 14-day cooling-off period. We will ask you to confirm this at the point of purchase. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
